de Croix-en-Ternois -2nd European Buell Track Days 2005 -July 9th/10th, (Saturday, Sunday) 2005 -to be found on the map between Calais and Arras, next (small) city: St. Pol -ca. 2 kms -no -Buell riders without track experience but track ambitions: group A: Here´s the place to improve your riding technique and skills, even if you have no racing ambitions. Speed is not the main point - that comes by itself the more you know and the more you practice your newly acquainted skills. 5 groups with 5 riders each, separated according riding experience and ambition, share the track within the group A time window and will be monitored by experienced and qualified instructors. 5 instructed turns of 20 min per day. -Buell riders without or with little track experience but track ambitions: group B: You´ve ridden on the racetrack before or go at racetrack speed on the roads but still want to improve? Then, we´ve got a golden compromise for you: On the first day, Thursday, you will be shown the ideal line and more riding tricks by a qualified and experienced instructor, always riding in small groups of ca. 5 riders. What you learn here is what makes you faster on the second day when your group joins the free practice.5 instructed turns of 20 min on Saturday, 5 turns of free practice (20 min) on Sunday. -Buell riders with track experience, without race experience: group C: You´ve done it all before, have loads of race track experience and simply want to squeeze out your Buell, without listening too much to anybody? Then Group C is your group. Here you meet Buell riders of your speed, they all have hundreds and more of circuit experience without having developed the need to fight for a place on the grid or the rostrum. Buelling fast is fun enough, isn´t it...? 5 turns of free practice (20 min) on Saturday, 5 turns of free practice (20 min) on Sunday. -Buell riders with racing experience: group D: In this group´s time windows the air is hot - and so is the track. Group D is reserved for those who have made the racetrack their second home and ideally have campaigned their Buell in races of any kind before. And since they gonna race anyway, we´ve made it 9 sessions of free practice plus a race heat at the end of the day. No time practice, starting positions for the grid will be rouletted. It´s still all about the fun...! 5 turns of free practice (20 min) on Saturday, 4 turns of free practice (20 min) and one 10 lap race on Sunday. -Buell riders without track experience and ambition: group E: You tend to find biking fun rather far from the racetrack? Then you stand a good chance to prove yourself right - especially here in France. This is why we have included also a touring programme for those who never thought of supersport tyres. However we want to offer you the opportunity to improve your riding skills also for road use with a special seminar where for sure you will find out more about braking and cornering. That will take you Saturday morning, and from there we´ll take you to the roads of the charming Côte d´Opale. On Sunday your tour leads you a little further to Normandy´s beaches and little ports. To conclude the day, you won´t mind a couple of guided tours around the circuit, will you? 3 hrs riding technique seminar on Saturday, Côte d´Opale tour on Saturday, Normandy tour on Sunday, ca. 5 circuit laps on Sunday. |
